Geo Teleco is committed to upholding all applicable laws and regulations governing Internet, email, and messaging services. Our aim is to ensure that every customer enjoys uninterrupted, secure, and respectful access to the Geo Teleco network and the broader Internet. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the standards and practices required to help us achieve that goal.
By using any Geo Teleco IP Service(s), as defined below, customers agree to comply with this AUP and take full responsibility for the actions of their users. Geo Teleco reserves the right to amend this policy at any time, with changes becoming effective upon being posted at [www.geoteleco.com/aup](https://www.geoteleco.com/aup). Continued use of the IP Services after such changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Scope of the AUP
This AUP applies to Geo Teleco’s services that provide access to or are delivered over the Internet, including hosting services, application and hardware-based services, or services delivered over wireless data networks (collectively referred to as “IP Services”).
Prohibited Activities
General Prohibitions
Geo Teleco strictly prohibits any use of its IP Services that is unlawful, interferes with the operation of its network or that of others, infringes intellectual property rights, or results in spam, security breaches, or harassment of individuals or entities.
Failure to comply with the terms or guidelines of third-party services accessed through Geo Teleco IP Services is also considered a violation of this policy.
Unlawful Use
Customers may not use Geo Teleco’s IP Services in any activity that violates local, regional, federal, or international law, including treaties and court orders.
Intellectual Property Violations
Geo Teleco IP Services must not be used to transmit, distribute, or store content that infringes upon copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Threatening or Offensive Content
Use of Geo Teleco IP Services to host, transmit, or distribute content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise harmful is strictly prohibited. Geo Teleco reserves the right to decline hosting or transmission of content it deems obscene or dangerous.
Confirmed violations will be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.
Spam/E-Mail/Usenet Abuse
Geo Teleco prohibits the sending of unsolicited or bulk electronic messages in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act or any related regulation. Examples of prohibited actions include:
Sending bulk unsolicited messages (spam) or chain mail.
Falsifying headers or sender information.
Operating open relays or using unauthorized systems to send mail.
Promoting websites via spam.
Harvesting email addresses.
Posting to multiple forums with content likely to attract complaints.
Using or distributing tools meant to facilitate spam or evasion of spam filters.

Security Violations
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their networks and systems. Use of Geo Teleco IP Services to compromise, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to networks, devices, or data is prohibited. This includes:
* Unauthorized scanning or probing of networks.
* Hacking or exploiting vulnerabilities.
* Distributing malicious software (e.g., viruses, worms, rootkits).
* Attempting to disguise identity or origin of traffic.
* Using accounts to operate servers or defeat timeout systems without permission.
* Transmitting pirated software or security bypass tools.

Customer Responsibilities
Customers are fully responsible for all content transmitted via Geo Teleco’s IP Services, including any material posted, downloaded, hosted, or accessed. Geo Teleco disclaims responsibility for user-generated or third-party content, including content accessible via links from Geo Teleco-hosted sites.
Customers must take immediate corrective action if a violation occurs and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Enforcement and Notice
Violations of this AUP may result in Geo Teleco taking actions ranging from warnings to immediate suspension or termination of IP Services. Whenever possible, Geo Teleco will issue a warning and give customers an opportunity to remedy violations.
However, Geo Teleco reserves the right to act without notice if use of the service poses a legal risk, harms the network, disrupts other customers’ services, or violates any law.

Copyright Infringement & DMCA
Geo Teleco respects the rights of copyright holders. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners may report suspected infringements. Geo Teleco maintains a **Repeat Infringer Policy** and may terminate accounts that are repeatedly used to violate copyright laws.
While Geo Teleco is not obligated to investigate all allegations, valid notices submitted under the DMCA will be processed accordingly. Geo Teleco may also voluntarily participate in copyright alert programs to prevent infringement.
